Required Permissions
Shopify permissions required by the PSYKHE app and web pixel setup.
The Shopify integration needs both normal app permissions and a separate web pixel permission step.
Standard App Permissions
The normal app install covers the broader Shopify OAuth scopes the integration needs for:
- product and collection data
- theme app extension setup
- storefront configuration
- orders and inventory reads where required by the app config
- metaobject and theme reads used by the integration setup
Most of this is handled during the standard install or collaborator flow.
Manual Pixel Permissions
Shopify requires the web pixel permissions to be granted separately.
How To Grant The Manual Permissions
- Open Shopify Admin.
- Go to Settings and then Users and permissions.
- Find PSYKHE AI in the Collaborators section.
- Enable these permissions:
- View customer events
- Manage and add custom pixels
These permissions are required for shopper tracking and personalization.
